I went home decor shopping yesterday and bought these two big, green cups, as well as the taper candles + glass candle holders. I think the cups are simple, yet cute which is totally my taste! And ofc, I love candles and glass especially <3 The glass vase was from who knows what lol but it was sitting in my closet shelf so I bought champagne roses to put in it. The lace bows I made myself. All that’s missing is a beautiful painting in the background. I can’t wait til I get my own house so I can start decorating it! Living in an apartment is so limited =( Oh, and those are white chocolate macadamia cookies, my favourite!! <33

Spring Outfits Lookbook ‘12 (by BoJaydaLee)

A lot of people always ask me how I get my glowing looking skin. Answer? I use alot of facial products and eat healthy (as healthy as possible). I’ve been using masks for a while now but I’ve never used cotton sheet masks until just very recently. I always used clay and peel-off masks. Keeping your skin healthy and beautiful, for most people, is not always the easiest on the budget. It definitely was not and still is not on me and so I’m always on the look out for affordable, yet still good quality products. Asian products never really worked on me, but I’ve found that the best Asian products I’ve used are Korean & Japanese.

So, recently I ordered some masks from Etude House (for those of you who are not aware of Etude House, it’s a Korean brand of beauty products) for both my boyfriend and myself. Yes, my boyfriend uses masks lol Anyways, I’ve always liked Etude House, especially their beauty care line, and their products are usually decent-good quality. I’ve yet to try an Etude House product that I don’t like. This mask in particular sparked my interest because of the pearl base. I’ve used Japanese facial creams before that were pearl based and they made my skin look gorgeous. Ultimately, they were a bit too expensive for my budget since they were imported. Therefore, I sought to try out Etude House.

My first impression of this was “oooh, pearls!” since I love pearls, and the packaging was very cute, as are all other Etude House products. When I opened the package for the mask, a quick strong scent came out.. it wasn’t a bad odour but it definitely was a scent that hit my senses quick and it almost smelt like alcohol mixed with antioxidants, the smell however only lasts for a split second. The mask itself doesn’t have a strong scent.

It is very concentrated with the serum and I definitely can get two uses out of one mask. After one use, I simply put it back into the packaging, which still contains serum, and then just place it into the fridge to keep it from drying out too much. Fit the sheet to your clean face and leave it on for 20-30 minutes, though there are times I take 1-2hr naps with it on, and then once you take it off simply massage the remaining serum into the face with your clean fingers. You’ll definitely feel your skin instantly smoother and softer. As for glowing and brightening effect, right after the mask, the serum does make your skin look like it has a soft glow, but I believe it does take a constant use to slowly start seeing effects. This mask is also hydrating for those of you who have dry skin but since I do have dry skin, I can say that I do recommend still using a light weighted formula moisturiser. Use this mask every 2-3 days but I personally just use once during the weekends. Prices will range dependent on whom and where you buy it from. They’re definitely cheaper to buy in Korea but if you buy online, it’ll take a bit of price hunting.

Anymore questions, feel free to ask me! Good luck~

Love, Bo <3

I’ve had my eyes on these earrings for quite a few months now but never really decided whether I actually wanted them or not. BUT! I’ve finally decided to purchase them =D I think they’re super cute and definitely great for the spring/summer!

They’re gold accented and the petals are made out of resin. And then of course there’s a little glass diamond in the centre.
